Punishment to Kasab

There was an euphoria and celebration all around when "death" sentence awarded to Kasab. The criminal justice system in India is strong enough to play its role and punish the convict. But what is the cause of celebration? Happiness?

In my opinion ..nothing. Of course Kasab will be subject to gallows after passing through the due course of safeguards available to him.

The moot point is who is guility. Whether Kasab or his mentors? Kasab was a mere pawn, like an instrument used to execute a sordid plan. So even if we are able to destroy one instrument, whether we have been able to curb effectively those played the role in carving out such a huge massacre is the biggest challenge.

Therefore, while I am not advocating leniency to Kasab, I am saying punish those who are responsible for creating havoc in Mumbai.

I think best way is to make our country more and more economic super power. We have largest working and most intelligent population. Our top class brain is serving America for a few hundreds of dollars. Bring them here. Use their brain power. Let us create more and more intellectual assets. The physical asset will follow. Military and armed forces will be automatic strong once we get the prosperity. Nobody will be able to look at us with an ulterior motive.

Let us not buckle. We have to firm and determind. Those are creating trouble in India, will be responsible for their own ruin. This is exactly what we see happening in our neighbouring country where no day is free from blast.

It is rightly said do not expect a better crop if your seeds are week. You will reap what you sow.

GHANTI MASISA

When in class IX I read in Rapid Reader, "Helen Keller Discovered the World”. She said that when you come across the beauty of garden, fresh air, mountain, river, sea or a set of circumstances, you tend to remember the memories associated in the similar situation happened in the past.

Today I remember Ghanti Masisa. She was a lady worth remembering on pre mother’s day. She became widow at a very young age. She had a small house in Ghoron ka chowk. She took the stitching work and was known as expert in Sari falls. This profession helped her in maintaining the family. She had two sons and two daughters. But she always remained alone post marriage of all siblings.

She used to come to us either by local bus or many times walking. She had tremendous sense of humour. When we came to city after passing middle school in a village, some times we used to go to her place. So Masisa would be cooking second time, as food will fall short of our unending appetite.

She was known as "Ghanti" (literary meaning "bell"), because she will never stop talking.

At the age of 78 she fell and passed away in Hospital. So Mithusa would come to us and say “I wanted to do Sewa of Baiji, but that Icchha is now not fulfilled”.

JOHDPUR PROGRAMME

As per rescheduled programme Baiji will be flying to Jodhpur on 23rd June, 2010. She will be landing in Jodhpur Air India Flight at 2 pm. She will be flying here from King Fisher.

As of date Induji wants her to stay with her.

We sincerely appreciate her senses of responsibility and taking lead role always for all matters.

Kaku

Today is birth day of our cute Adi and we all wish him a very happy birth day. His papa is very close to create a Guinness World Record for writing maximum blog in Hindi and on daily basis without any fail. Hats off to great papaji,

Kaku was born in 1975 in Mokalsar and had his middle level education there in guidance of Prsasann Masi. Mokalsar did not come to him out of his choice, but that is how things have happened and later on he had to face the humiliation from so called “Shaharwale”, none of them could become even graduate despite having all facilities of high level education in Jodhpur.

He was first enrolled in Mahesh School and subsequently I took him to Hanwant School. He was post graduated in Science and could influence many people who came across him during his college days. However, only Anju was lucky to grab him.

Immediately after post graduation he joined CAZRI as scientist and also used to teach college students. Subsequently, he joined M/s Apolo Tyres as their MIS officer. However private sector was not a cup of tea for Kaku AND switched over from one NGO to another.

Wherever he went, he excelled and in a very short time got recognition for creating something unique, new and creative. This is the reason he was selected among top rankers for an assignment out of India. Besides the mental satisfaction he got, he has been blessed with lot of physical comforts like Five Star Accommodation facing lakes, sky touching towers, natural surroundings and so on.

You will surprise today is birth day of Adi bhagwan and I am writing about his dad. Yes…because he is a “khas” bhanja. While we have 43 members in the family I would place him next to Prakash bhai sab. Totally selfless, both husband and wife and would come forward to help any family members with utmost zeal and sincerity. He is very much concerned about Baiji as he lived with her like her 10^th kid.

So we all wish him a very bright future.

BAIJI LATEST UPDATE

HI...,

Mataji is though well, but she needs company. Telephone has its own limitations. She cries, she weeps, she scolds, she desires, she dreams, but Jodhpur is far away.

Woh..bahavi road ki mataki, Woh...buso ki awaj, woh hotel wale, woh..betia.. vakil sab... Now I realise, how we feel when not in the company of the people we have been all through the life.

ANURANJAN

While we are a little concerned about health of Baiji and her dream of going to home place, here is a good news.

April is the season of Appraisal. Our Salim now known as Anuranjan got a very decent rise in his kitty.

Three cheers for him. Bade Benji, Jijai and Shilipi must be very happy and I am looking for a grand party.

OLD AGE VOWS

Baiji is not well since Dec 2009. She went to Jodhpur in the month of Nov 09 and was cooking and doing all house hold chores herself and then decided to move to Bhilwara for a few days. On very first day, her legs refused to move and on diagnosis it was found that she had severe diabetic problems. Raju being in small town was not able to cope with this situation and immediately rushed her to Ahmedabad.

As usual bhai sab, bhabhiji and Chinku put in their best efforts for her medical care. She was admitted in Shelby Hospital in Ahmedabad. She was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus Hypertension and also compression in Spinal Cord. Urine frequency was very high and therefore, minimum two persons were required to take her to toilet after every one or two hour. She was subsequently made to go through urinary procedure in the month of March 2010. Since then urine is being passed through catheter only. Attempts to urinating without catheter have failed.

On 21^st March, 2010 she was brought at our place. One full time female attendant was engaged to take care of her. She was also taken to PGI and advised to be admitted for at least 15 days for proper diagnosis. However, surgery at this stage is difficult and there is no guarantee that she would be cured by procedure and were were told that other problems may crop up after surgery due to old age. In any case bajiji herself is not ready for this. Alternate medicines (homeopathy) were also given, but due to bitter taste she refused to carry on.

She also developed infection in the 2^nd week of April, 2010. White flakes were seen in the urine bag and flow of urine was completed stopped. We tried to call on doctor and nurse on emergency basis but nobody agreed to come at home and wanted patient to be brought at hospital. At last with his contacts, Gopi managed one male nurse and as per telephonic advice from one of my close frinds is also an urologist in other city , bladder flushing was done with high dose of medicines. This process was repeated twice on alternate day and with God blessing, situation was brought under control. The urine culture and urine routine test were conducted subsequently and they were found be as per desired level looking to the condition of patient.

The physiological problems are still manageable. However, the biggest challenge is the emotional issue. Being mother of nine kids and the senior most member of a family having 43 members she feels lonely and alone. Though we give her best of our company, the attendant and additional servant also available round the clock so that she keeps on talking, but no other company is there. Neighbors and friends seldom visit. Even if they do, they are not interested in listening to patient vows. That is how the fact of life is.

She wants to be among her close knits, wants to talk to her sister-in-law, nephew, brother, bhabhi, daughter, daughter-in-laws, grand sons and so on. Mobiles phone has been kept at her bed side so that she could talk to the dear ones. She wants to go to Jodhpur, wants to get sympathy of all those who are closely associated with her, wants to see her residence. But alas, that is difficult. Everybody is already occupied with their own responsibilities.

The morale of the story:

1. As far as possible, we should keep ourselves physically fit as old age is extremely difficult phase.
2. We should give best of morale education of our kids, so that they have the emotions of sufferings and pains of dear one AND as a parent we should give maximum love to our kids.
   
3. Last but not least, you should be financially sound to support yourself.
