FESTIVAL OF lights-DIPAWALI

Today is Deepawali, 28th October, 2008. Normally we celebrate Diwali alongwith other family members. Either we go to our native place or common place or brother's place or some of them visit us normally on this auspicious day.

This time, my mother and brother's family is here. We celebrate Diwali with great joy. Brother's son Master Kartik is a great singer and dancer. Since I do sing, we have a great company. Posting some phtographs of our previous Diwali celebrations.

There were some hooligansm in Mumbai in the last few weeks. Some politicians are exploiting the situations by inciting local crowd. This is the most unfortunate. Perhaps we have got democracy very cheaply. These politicians have forgotten the great sacrifice made by our leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel, Subhash Chandra and others who toiled and served nations without selfish end. In my opinion such poeple should be dealth with firmly and rule of law should prevail. Nobody has right to ask people to destroy public properties and attack the innocent people. If such things allowed to happen, then there will be total anarchy. And histroy will repeat, we will again by attacked by outsiders, perhaps then we will understand our mistakes. Else, let us treat these politicians firmly and should not compromise on national integirity and security. Nobody is above law.

Let message go to all and sundries on this Diwali that we are a great nation and anybody who tries to pinch its basic structure, will be dealth with iron hand.

I wish all my readers a very happy Diwali and propserous new year.

Wish you all a very Happy Diwali. I hope you are having a great time.
I agree with your views. Like to add only one point here - We get what we deserve. We deserve such politicians and such system.
