Woman : A God’s own creation
Amit sat at the dining table,
tapping his foot impatiently as he checked his watch for the umpteenth time.
When Namrata finally arrived, his frustration bubbled over, and he lashed out
at her for being late. But Namrata, ever the diplomat, calmly explained her
predicament, diffusing the tension with her gentle apology.
Their relationship had begun innocently enough,
sparked by a chance encounter at a friend's birthday party. Amit, the dedicated
software engineer, and Namrata, the vibrant and hardworking woman, seemed like
opposites at first glance. Yet, their differences only seemed to complement
each other, leading to a deep friendship that blossomed into love over time.
As they embarked on the journey of marriage, they
welcomed two beautiful children into their lives, Karuna and Kavya. Namrata's
days started at the crack of dawn, bustling around the kitchen to ensure her
family was well-fed and ready for the day ahead. Despite her busy schedule, she
always made time to keep their home warm and inviting, never turning away a
guest.
However, Amit's obsession with work often blinded
him to Namrata's efforts, leading him to nitpick at every little flaw. He
failed to appreciate her sacrifices, believing that her role was solely to
manage the household while he focused on his career.
Over the years, their relationship became strained
as Amit continued to take Namrata for granted, never realizing the depth of her
love and dedication. But Namrata, ever the selfless wife and mother, bore the
weight of his expectations with grace, putting her family's needs above her
own.
Tragedy struck when Namrata was diagnosed with
late-stage cancer, leaving Amit to face the harsh reality of life without her.
As friends and family rallied around him, offering their condolences and
support, Amit couldn't help but feel the crushing weight of his loneliness.
Alone in their once bustling home, Amit was forced
to confront his own shortcomings.
The aroma of love which he was taking for granted is missing in the house. Nobody is there to serve him hot breakfast
with a pinch of love. Nobody is there to
decor his home with her smile. His house
looked like ghost house.
Manusmriti says:
यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः ।
यत्रैतास्तु न पूज्यन्ते सर्वास्तत्राफलाः क्रियाः
Where Women are honoured, divinity blossoms there,
and where women are dishonoured, all actions no matter how noble remains
unfruitful.
